Dead Sea Salt Therapy

The Salt Suite Delray Beach, FloridaI recently went to the Salt Suite with my friend, Brenda. The Salt Suite has two rooms full of salt from the dead sea — one for adults and one for children. The walls, ceiling and floor are made of salt. Customers are required to wear socks as they will walk through mounds of salt to get to their chairs. Squish, squish.

Why visit a salt room? There are many benefits of salt therapy. Stress relief and toxin removal from the body are what piqued my interest in giving it a try.

What do you do at a salt suite? You sit in a comfy chair and close your eyes. Relaxing music will lull your body as you start to breathe better. The salt will cleanse your body, mind and spirit as you enter your zone. You meditate. It comes naturally. When the session is over, the lights will come on, and you will slowly come back to reality. You will walk out in a peaceful state of mind, not really knowing what happened to you. All you know is that you feel fantastic.

And the kids? They get to play with toys in a room full of salt. They will receive the same benefits as you. So, let your kids run loose as they release toxins while you do too. You get to relax, and they get to play… Not a bad deal.

Have a headache? Visit a salt suite. I once went there with two friends, and one friend’s headache was gone by the end of the session.

Curious to see what it’s all about? The Salt Suite in Delray Beach, Florida gives you your first session free so you can test it out. Brenda and I bought a package because we enjoyed it so much. I hope your experience is as enlightening as mine. Namaste.
