Apple Delight

APPLE DELIGHT

Ingredients:Apple Delight with Vanilla Ice Cream and Salted Carmel

  • Olive oil
  • 4-5 diced apples
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of coconut sugar
  • Filo dough

Directions:

  1. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Take a pan, and put a thin layer of oil on the bottom.
  4. Then lay a piece of filo dough in the pan.
  5. Dribble some oil on the filo, and spread it over the whole sheet.
  6. Take another piece of filo dough, and dribble a tiny bit of oil onto the sheet.
  7. Add another filo sheet, and dribble oil on it.
  8. Repeat this process until you have used six (6) sheets of filo dough.
  9. Add some diced apples, then sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon.
  10. Add another few layer of filo, and dribble oil on it.
  11. Add another layer of filo, and dribble oil on it.
  12. Add another layer of filo, and dribble oil on it.
  13. Add some diced apples, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  14. Repeat this process until you have about six remaining filo dough sheets.
  15. Add a filo sheet, and dribble oil and the cinnamon mix on it.
  16. Repeat this process until you reach your final filo dough sheet.
  17. On the last sheet of filo dough, you will need to disperse a full layer of thin oil over the whole thing.
  18. Sprinkle a little bit of the cinnamon mix on the last layer of filo.
  19. Cut the apple dessert into squares before you bake it.
  20. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  21. Check your apple delight.
  22. Let it continue to cook until the top layer is slightly brown.
  23. It should take 20 minutes to an hour to cook.
  24. Let the apple delight cool for 30 minutes before serving.
  25. For an even more amazing treat, serve the apple square warm with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce.
