Baked Kale Salad

Baked Kale Salad“A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.”

Ingredients:

  • Kale
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Dried cranberries
  • Sliced almonds
  • Pink Himalayan salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Balsamic vinaigrette

Directions:

  1. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
  2. Put desired amount of kale into a pan.
  3. Add basil leaves from your basil plant.
  4. Add dried cranberries.
  5. Add sliced almonds.
  6. Add pink Himalayan salt.
  7. Add pepper.
  8. Add olive oil.
  9. Add minimal balsamic vinaigrette.
  10. Bake until the kale is a little crisp.

Variations of this recipe:

  • Swap the sliced almonds for cashews.

OR…

  • Swap the dried cranberries for cut up apples.
